Invited applications from Male Indian Citizens ordinarily resident of the Uttar Pradesh / Naxlite affected District of Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal for filling-up the vacancies in the rank of Constable (GD/Male) in Central Reserve Police Force.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200-20200, Grad Pay- Rs.2000/-
Other Allowances: As admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time under the rules. Plus ration money free medical, accommodation etc.
Place of duty: Any where within as well as outside the Territory of India.
Age:- 18 to 23 years (Cut off date for age will be 1st August 2009 i.e. recruitment year)
Educational Qualification:- Matriculation or 10th class passed from recognized Board/University.
Physical Standard:-
Height – 170 Cms (for Genl candidates without relaxation)
Chest - Un-expanded 80 Cms; Expanded 85 Cms(5 Cms expansion is must)
Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard. Minimum weight for height of 170 Cms – 52 kgs.
(In case of any increase/decrease of height an additional / less weight of 0.71 Kg for every increase/decrease of 1 Cms in height would be required.)
Medical Standards:-
i) Eye sight – Distant Vision- Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye. However, the distant vision of right eye should be 6/6 for right handed individual and for left handed person left eye should be 6/6 without correction i.e. without wearing glasses.
ii) The candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in a good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect which may likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
