C-DAC, A Scientific Society of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt.of India is looking for R&D engineers in the area of Free & Open Source Software (FOSS) to join a team of professionals!
1. Member Technical Staff (E-III) – 2 Posts (Chennai) – Scale of Pay: 15600-39100+GP 7600/- (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale is Rs.59000/- approx.)
Educational Qualification: a) First Class in B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 7 years R&D experience OR
b) First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 5 years R&D experience in relevant discipline OR
c) Ph.D in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 4 years R&D experience in relevant field.
Age: Not more than 37 years as on 1.9.2009
2. Member Technical Staff (E-II) – 4 Posts (Chennai) – Scale of Pay: 15600-39100+GP 6600/- (Total emoluments at minimum of the scale is Rs.49000/- approx.)
Educational Qualification: a) First Class in B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 4 years R&D experience OR
b) First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 2 years R&D experience in relevant discipline OR
c) Ph.D in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication.
Age: Not more than 33 years as on 1.9.2009
3. Member Technical Staff (E-I) – 9 Posts (Chennai-6, Delhi-3) – Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100+GP 5400/-(Total emoluments at minimum of the scale is Rs. 42000/- approx.)
Educational Qualification: a) First Class in B.E. / B. Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication OR
b) First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology / Electronics & Telecommunication
Age: Not more than 30 years as on 1.9.2009
All the above posts are purely on Contract basis for a period of 3 years.
