The Indian School of Mines invites application from Indian nationals belonging to SC, ST, OBC & PH categories for the following positions.
1. Professor
Pay Band(PB-4): Rs.37400-67000/- with AGP: Rs.10,000/-
Minimum Pay: Rs.43000/- + AGP + DA @ 27% + HRA + Other Allowances
Qualification and Experience: Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum 13 years experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor/ Principal Scientific Officer/Chief Design Engineer/Principal Research Scientist in the AGP of Rs. 9000.
2. Associate Professor
Pay Band(PB-4): Rs.37400-67000/- with AGP: Rs.9,000/-
Minimum Pay: Rs.40890/- + AGP + DA @ 27% + HRA + Other Allowances
Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. Minimum 9 years experience of which at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 8000.
3. Assistant Professor
Pay Band (PB-3): Rs.15600-39100/- with AGP : Rs.6,000/-
Minimum Pay: Rs. 20140/- + AGP + DA @ 27% + HRA + Other Allowances
Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Prescribed application forms may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Estt.), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad – 826 004 by sending a crossed demand draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines, along with a self addressed stamped (Rs.50/-) envelope of 30cmx12cm size.
