1. Typist – Clerk (Special Recruitment from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe only) – 2 Posts (Kollam – 1, Malappuram – 1)
Department: Industries and Commerce.
Scale of pay: Rs.5250-8390/-
Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes only).
Age limit: Should have completed Eighteen (18) years and should not have completed Forty (40) years of age as on 01.01.2009. (No other age relaxation will be allowed).
Educational Qualifications: 1) S.S.L.C. or its equivalent qualification.
2) Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE) or its equivalent.
3) Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent.
2. Security Guard (SR for ST only) – 1 Post (Ernakulam – 1)
Department: Archaeology
Scale of Pay: Rs.950 – 1500 (PR)
Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only).
Age Limit: Must have completed 18(Eighteen) years and must be below 30 (Thirty) years of age as on 01.01.2009 (No other age relaxation is allowed).
Educational Qualifications: Pass in SSLC or equivalent.
4. Senior Lecturer (in the various subjects)
Department: Medical Education.
Scale of pay: Rs.10000-15200
Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment.
Age limit: Must have completed 24 (twenty four)years and must not have completed 43 (Forty three) years of age as on 1.1.2009. Upper age limit for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates will be 45 (forty five) years
Qualifications: 1. Post Graduate Degree (Medical) in the respective discipline from a recognised University (Viz.MD/MS/DNB)
2. Permanent Registration under the State/Central Medical Registration Act.
5. Physical Education Teacher (H S) (Malayalam Medium) – 1 Post (Kannur, Dheevara)
Department: Education
Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from among Dheevara Community)
Age limit: Should have completed 18 (Eighteen) years and should not have completed 42 (Forty two) years of age as on 01.01.2009
Qualifications: (i) A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
(ii) A pass in the Certificate of Physical Education issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or a pass in the Vocational Higher Secondary Education in Physical Education conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Educations, Kerala or its equivalent or any degree in Physical Education (Regular Course) such as B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed. etc., conferred or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala (G.O.(Ms.) No. 48/2001/G.Edn dated 9.2.2001).
6. Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Sanskrit) – Thiruvananthapuram – Muslim – 1 Post

A pass in Pre-University or Pre-Degree examination from Sanskrit Colleges affiliated to the Universities in Kerala
OR
A pass in Sanskrit Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala
7. Staff Nurse

Scale of pay: Rs.7480 – 11910
Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment. ( Candidates from SIUC Nadar / AI, Muslim, Dheevara, Scheduled Tribe communities only)
Qualifications: 1): General – PDC or equivalent Examination
2) Special -(A) Pass in General Nursing and Midwifery course of not less than 3 years
(B) Certificate of Registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council of any state in India as Nurse and Midwife in the case of woman candidates and as Nurse in the case of male candidates
