RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF MAHILA CONSTABLE/ (GD)
Applications are invited from Female Indian citizens, resident of the respective States for filling up of vacancies for the year 2009 on temporary basis likely to be permanent for the post of Mahila Constable (General Duty) Group ‘C’ in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad.
Total Vacancies: 98 in various states
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month and other allowances.
Age: Between 18 to 23 Years (Cut off date for determining age will be 01 August 2009).
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board / University / National Open School (National Institute of Open School).

Last Date: 14/12/2009 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of HP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 21/12/2009.
