To assist in the externally funded projects undertaken by the Institute, engagement of Indian Nationals
in the following temporary positions, co-terminus with the expiry of the project, is required to be made
through Walk-in-Interview :
Contract Research Projects : entitled “Third party evaluation and quality inspection of School Buildings under construction during 2007-08 and 2008-09 under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan” (SSP-0468).
1. Project Assistant (Level-III) – 2 Posts
Fixed Stipend: Rs.14000/-
Age Limit: 32 yrs
Qualifications: M.Tech. (Structures/Building Sc. Tech./Earthquake Engg./Construction Engg.) with 55% marks (in case of CGPA, conversion formula will be applied).
OR
Project Assistant (Level-II) – 2 Posts
Fixed Stipend: Rs.12000/-
Age Limit: 28 yrs
Qualifications: BE/B. Tech. (Civil Engg./MCA) with 55% marks. (in case of CGPA, conversion formula will be applied).

2. Project Assistant (Level-I) - 3 posts
Fixed Stipend: Rs.8,000/-
Age Limit: 25 yrs
Qualifications: Three yrs.full time Diploma in Civil Engg. with 50% marks
Desirable: Some Experience in use of Computer

Qualifications: B.Sc. (Chemistry) With 50% marks
Desirable: Some Experience in use of Computers

4. Project Assistant (Level-II) – 1 Post
Fixed Stipend: Rs.12000/-
Age Limit: 28 yrs.
Qualifications: M.Sc.(Analytical/Industrial Chemistry) or Organic Chemistry with 60% marks

Sub-Project : entitled “Evolving User Friendly, Viable Seismic Resistant Retrofitting Techniques” under Supra Institutional Project (SIP – 29)
5. Project Assistant (Level – I) – 1 Post
Fixed Stipend: Rs.7000/-
Age Limit: 28 Yrs
Qualifications: 03 yrs. full time 1st Class Diploma in Civil Engg.
OR
Project Assistant (Level-II) – 1 Post
Fixed Stipend: Rs.10000/-
Age Limit: 28 yrs
Qualifications: 1st Class BE/B.Tech. (Civil Engg.)
OR
Project Assistant (Level-III) – 1 Post
Fixed Stipend: Rs.12000/-
Age Limit: 30 yrs
Qualifications: ME/ M.Tech. (Civil or Earthquake Engg.)

Place of Interview: CBRI, Roorkee
The interested candidates may appear for walk-in-interview before the Selection Committee at CBRI, Roorkee on the date and time as mentioned above along with original documents and six copies of bio-data (One copy of bio-data duly affixed with a latest passport size photograph and supported by self-attested photocopies of certificates, mark sheets and other relevant documents)
