Application from Indian Nationals are invited to fill up 6302 vacant posts of Temporary Constable (Exe) Male and 416 vacant posts of Temporary Women Constable (Exe.) in Delhi Police under the following categories in the pay scale of PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade pay Rs.2000/- & other allowances as admissible:
1. Constable (Exe) Male – 6302 Vacancies
Age limit: 18 to 21 years as on 01.07-2009
Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board at the time of filling up of application form. Graduation Certificate issued to ex-servicemen from the Army/Navy/Air Force of Indian Union is also acceptable. Relax able upto 11th pass for (i) bandsmen, buglers, mounted constable, drivers, dispatch riders of Delhi Police Etc. (ii) Sos of serving, deceased, retired police personnel/ Group ‘D’ employees of Delhi police.
2. Women Constable (Exe) – 416 Vacancies
Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01.07-2009
Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board at the time of filling up of application form. Relax able upto 11th pass only for daughters of serving, deceased, retired police personnel/ Group ‘D’ employees of Delhi Police.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/- in the form of Demand/Bank Draft in favour of DCP/Rectt Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi.
