Applications on prescribed forms are invited for filling up the following positions in the university on UGC’s pay bands.
1. Professor (Toxicology) – 1 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 plus AGP of Rs.10000
Qualification: An eminent scholar with published work of high quality actively engaged in research with ten years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and /or experience in research at the University / National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level. -OR- An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge. -OR- A Ph.D. degree with 10 years of professional experience at senior level in such areas like distance education / educational planning and management, formulation and implementation of educational development programmes, teaching and research.
2. Professor/Director, DODL – 1 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 plus AGP of Rs.10000
Qualification: An eminent scholar with published work of high quality actively engaged in research with ten years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and /or experience in research at the University / National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level. -OR- An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge. -OR- A Ph.D. degree with 10 years of professional experience at senior level in such areas like distance education / educational planning and management, formulation and implementation of educational development programmes, teaching and research.
3. University Librarian – 1 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 plus AGP of Rs.10000
Qualification: (i) Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record. (ii) At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian. (iii)Evidence of innovative library service and organization or published work.
4. Head, Computer Centre – 1 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 plus GP Rs.7600
Qualification: (i) Ph. D. degree in any branch of Science/Engineering/Management with first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Computer Engineering/Computer Technology Or Ph. D. degree in Computer Science with first class MCA degree. (ii) Three years of experience of Data base management, networking & management of Computer Centre.
5. Security Officer - 1 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 plus GP Rs.4600
Qualification: (i) Bachelors’ degree in any discipline. (ii) Five years experience in the relevant field
6. Field Worker, Family Welfare Centre – 1 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 plus GP Rs.1900
Qualification: (i) Bachelors’ degree in any discipline. (ii) One year experience in the relevant field.
