1. DIRECTOR OF EXTENSION – 1 Post
QUALIFICATIONS : (i) Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/Agriculture.(ii) Ph.D. degree in Horticulture/Agriculture Minimum twenty years of experience in teaching/research/extension in (iii) Horticulture/Agriculture with 5 years experience in Horticultural crops.(iv) Atleast five years of experience should be as Professor /Principal Scientist/Associate Director or equivalent rank.
2. PROFESSOR (Horticulture) – 1 Post
QUALIFICATIONS : i) A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/Agriculture. ii) Ph.D. degree or any other equivalent Doctorate degree in the concerned subject. iii) Experience of not less than 10 years in Teaching/Research/Extension in the subject (discipline) concerned in recognized Teaching/Research/Extension institutions,out of which 3 years should be as Associate Professor. iv) Should have Good Published Research Papers in Scientific Journals.
3. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR – 17 Posts
A. EXCEPT BIO-CHEMISTRY AND STATISTICS AND MATHEMATICS:
QUALIFICATIONS : i).A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture /Horticulture .ii).Ph.D. degree or any other equivalent Doctorate degree in the subject (discipline) concerned .iii).Experience of not less than five years in Teaching /Research /Extension in the subject (discipline) concerned in recognized Teaching /Research /Extension institutions.Experience both as Instructor and Assistant Professor count equally for the purpose.iv) Should have Good Published Research Papers in Scientific Journals.
B. BIO-CHEMISTRY:
QUALIFICATIONS : i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Bi.P.C./M.P.C. stream from any recognized University. ii).A First Class Master’s Degree in Bio-Chemistry/Plant Bio-Chemistry from any recognized University.iii).Ph.D. Degree or any other equivalent Doctorate degree in the subject (discipline) concerned.iv) Experience not less than 5 years in Teaching in the subject (discipline) concerned in recognized Teaching Institutions. Experience both as Instructor and Assistant Professor count equally for the purpose.v).Should have good Published Research Papers in Scientific Journals.
C.STATISTICS AND MATHEMATICS:
QUALIFICATIONS : i) M.Sc. Degree in Ag. Statistics or M.Sc.(Ag.) in Statistics ii) Ph.D. degree or any other equivalent doctorate degree in the subject (discipline concerned) .iii) Experience of not less than 5 years in Teaching /Research/ Extension in the subject (discipline) concerned in recognized Teaching/ Research/ Extension Institutions. Experience both as Instructor and Assistant Professor count equally for the purpose. iv) Should have good published research papers in Scientific Journals.
4.ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – 6 Posts
QUALIFICATIONS : i) A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture. ii) A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. iii) Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu. iv) NET qualification in the concerned discipline is essential.
5. TECHNICAL OFFICER – 2 Posts
QUALIFICATIONS : i) A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture. ii) A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. iii) Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu. iv) NET qualification in the concerned discipline is essential.
