1. CONSTABLE
Age: Between 18 and 23 years
Education : Matriculation or its equivalent.
Other Eligibility Conditions: i) The standard of the candidates in the respective sports will be ascertained on the basis of merit list drawn after taking into consideration their last 3 years achievements. ii) Preference will be given to those candidates who have won medals for the country in the recognized International Sports competitions or have represented the country in the recognized current international sports competitions or have won Gold/Silver medals in Senior National/National Games during 2007, 2008, and 2009. iii) Final selection of the sportsmen will be done on the basis of their sports achievements,educational qualification and qualitative requirement prescribed for recruitment of sportsmen. The decision of the Recruitment Board with regard to matters connected with this recruitment will be final in all respects and no further correspondence will be made with the rejected applicants. iv) The journey for selection tests will be performed at their own risk/cost. No TA/DA is admissible during recruitment trial test. v) The BSF/Govt of India will not be responsible for any injury/accident during the journey or at the time of conducting trial/test of the candidates.
