IIT Roorkee invites applications for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor (on contract).
1. Assistant Professor
Pay Band : (Rs. 15600 – 39100) with AGP Rs. 8000/-.
Qualifications: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record and at least 3 years industrial/ research/ teaching experience, excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
2. Assistant Professor (On contract)
Pay Band : Rs. 15600 – 39100 with AGP Rs. 6000/-
Qualifications: Candidates not satisfying eligibility requirement for direct recruitment as Assistant Professor may be put on tenure track as Assistant Professor (on contract). Candidates should have Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
