Applications are invited for filling the following posts in the Central Silk Board.
1. Sr. Library & Information Assistant - 1 Post
Pay Band: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Age: Below 30 Years
Qualification: Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Science/ Commerce/ Arts with Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University in Library Science.
2.Assistant - 5 Posts
Pay Band: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Age: Below 30 Years
Qualification: IInd Class Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Commerce/ Arts / Bachelor of Law from a recognized University.
3. Assistant (Technical) - 1 Post
Pay Band : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Age: Below 30 Years
Qualification: IInd Class Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in Entomology/ Zoology / Botany / Agriculture / Sericulture / Chemistry or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University
4. Artist - 1 Post
Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
Age: Below 30 Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with Diploma in Commercial Arts from a recognized Institute.
5. Upper Division Clerk – 1 Post
Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
Age: Below 25 Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science/Commerce / Arts from a recognized University with a pass in Junior Grade Typewriting examination conducted by State Technical Education Board with a speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting.
6. Field Assistant – 72 Posts
Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-
Age: Below 25 Years
Qualification: Matriculation(with Science) or Diploma in Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
7. Lower Division Clerk – 20 Posts
Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
Age: Below 25 Years
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification with a pass in Junior Grade Typewriting examination conducted by State Technical Education Board with a speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting.
8. Assistant Technician - 14 Posts
Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
Age: Below 25 Years
Qualification: Diploma or I. T. I. Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Institute in any one of the following fields Sericulture/ Agriculture / Horticulture.
9. Scientist – B – 2 Posts
Pay Band: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Age: Below 40 Years (Relaxable by 5 years for PWD Candidates)
Qualification: ESSENTIAL: High II Class Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in Zoology/Botany/ Entomology/Agriculture/Agronomy/Chemistry/ Sericulture from a recognized University with 5 years Research experience as evidenced by Research Publications in reputed journals.
