The UPSC will hold the Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination, 2010 on 19.12.2010 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways .
1. Special Class Apprentices
Age: 17-21 years as on 01.08.2010
Qualification: Must have passed in the first of second division, the Intermediate or and equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the Examination.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in Appendix-II of the rules for the Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination, 2010 published in the Gazette of India dated 28.08.2010
